LFFL Player of the Year

When the LFFL expanded to 3 leagues in 2009, we added a player of the year award.  However, the scoring was never simply best combined record.  We start with wins/losses, but also have added for things like division, points scored, and titles.  As we expanded to a 4th LFFL league, we retooled the way points were distributed, but kept the same total amount of available points so we can still compare from season to season.

Key Dates in the LFFL POTY

2009 - First award given

2017 - Point totals adjusted to account for a 4th league with a very different format.

2018 - Format changed again.  Teams ranked from 1st to worst in both standings and points.  Best average standing wins.
