Liddle Fantasy Basketball League
In the 90s, this league carried just as much importance as the football league did to Todd, Phil, and I. We had 6 teams apiece, keepers, and all sorts of rules. What really took these leagues to the next level were how competitive they were. No matter what happened in the regular season, for 4 consecutive years, the champion had the same name.....Todd Meyer. He was the first (and remains the only) team to claim 4 straight titles in any league, in any sport. We rebooted this league in 2015 with far simpler rules, but still just as fun.
Key Dates in the LFBBL
Fall 1992 - The LFBBL is born with 2 teams each for Todd, Phil, and Casey
Spring 1993 - With the final tied at one game each in a best of three series, Todd and Casey decide that the third game is so close, they will just call it a tie. No more than 5 minutes later Todd and Casey are scoring what will be a 156-155 win for Todd.
1994 - The league expands to 6 teams each for Todd, Phil, and Casey
1994 - The league officially becomes a keeper league
1995 - First ever rookie draft is held
Spring 1996 - Todd claims his 4th straight LFBBL title
Fall 2014 - LFBBL is reborn with 8 teams competing for Todd's title.
2019-20 - Rosters expanded and scoring changed to Best Ball.
